JLG Architects of Grand Forks is the lead design firm on the Gorecki Alumni Center project. They have produced these renderings of what the building will look like when completed. While design changes could occur along the way, these images give us our best idea of what the future holds in store for the UND alumni family.

An outdoor patio will provide an inviting place to gather in a casual setting. In addition to a fire pit, a grill will mean some fun under the sun.

A grand staircase will welcome visitors to the first floor lobby.

The community room will have room to seat for 150 people to eat.

Gorecki Alumni Center will offer a number of areas to display exhibits of UND’s heritage.

The hallways on the first floor will include areas for laid-back gatherings and to learn more about the history of UND.

The canopy over the community helps to diffuse the sun's hot rays while still allowing light to flood the room from above.

) Landscaping around the Gorecki Alumni Center will include native plants and grasses that require little watering. In fact, there will be no irrigation system on the property.
