Take advantage of N.D. tax credit
Do you pay taxes in North Dakota? Do you have a desire to make an enduring impact at UND? The North Dakota legislature has made it even more enticing to consider making a gift to an endowment through the UND Foundation. With a gift of at least $5,000 to an endowment, you could benefit from a federal tax deduction AND an additional 40 percent credit on your North Dakota state income tax. For a donor in a 28 percent federal tax bracket, a $5,000 gift would cost just $1,600 after tax savings. There are three ways to give to an endowment: create an endowment, support an existing named endowment, or benefit one of the Exceptional UND endowments. For more information, click here. We encourage you to contact a gift planner or e-mail us at donorrelations@undfoundation.org.
