Endowment Honoring Dr. Robert Boyd Announced
A scholarship has been established in honor of Dr. Robert Boyd’s 32 years of service to UND. All gifts made to the Dr. Robert Boyd Emerging Leader Scholarship Endowment may qualify for a matching gift through a challenge grant earlier established by the B. John Barry Family Foundation. Endowment Created to Support Norwegian Bygdebok Collection
The Chester Fritz Library has named its collection of Norwegian bygdeboker in honor of Dr. Arne G. Brekke’s role in establishing and his 30 years of contributions to its growth. A web site uses maps of Norway to link locations to related bygdebok volumes held in the collection. Click here to contribute to the endowment.
UND’s Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) to Present Semi-Annual Report
SMIF, part of the College of Business and Public Administration, will present its semi-annual report from 4 to 6 p.m. Mar. 3 at the Ina Mae Rude Entrepreneur Center. The student-managed investment portfolio started with $100,000 in funding with gifts through the UND Foundation from Jim and Nancy Seifert, Robert Foley, A. Kirk Lanterman, and the Stenjem Family. On Feb. 11, SMIF broke the $1.1 million mark!
