Follow Alumna's Space Launch Karen Nyberg, '94, will blast off May 28 for an extended stay at the International Space Station. She spent Mother's Day in Russia with her son and husband, fellow astronaut Doug Hurley (read the story in Parenting Magazine).

After 11 years as Executive Vice President and CEO of the UND Alumni Association & Foundation, Tim O’Keefe has announced he will retire on March 31, 2014. O’Keefe, in partnership with UND leadership, led the University through North Dakota Spirit | The Campaign for UND, which has already surpassed its $300 million goal. Read more here.

Join the UND team at the Fourth Annual Lunabotics Mining Competition at the Kennedy Space Center May 20-24. Find out more about the competition here.
NASA is hosting its Fourth Annual Lunabotics Mining Competition at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex May 20-24, 2013, and a team from the University of North Dakota is expected to compete. We hope that the alumni will come out to cheer them on and support their efforts if they are in the Orlando area!
These science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) students are our future scientists, astronauts, engineers, physicists, and entrepreneurs. We invite you and members of your organization to visit the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to marvel as the Lunabots mine “moon dirt” in a race against the clock.
This year is shaping up to be better than ever with new challenges and a new team member. Luna (as in Luna*Bot) joined the team and created the Luna Worldwide Challenge. Ralph Engelstad Arena Ball Hockey Classic
Gather your friends and family for the first ever ball hockey tournament at Ralph Engelstad Arena May 31-June 2. We’re taking out the ice and putting in six cross court rinks in the main and Olympic arenas for the tournament action. Divisions range from youth through adult and mixed teams are welcome! There will be a kick-off concert on the Plaza Friday night as well as family activities on the concourse throughout the weekend.
